New exam pattern for 2024

This time, there are fewer questions for the exam, but the time limit remains the same. For Post Graduate (PG) students, there are no changes in the exam pattern. Earlier, there were 150 questions, but now there will be 120 questions. However, the time limit remains at 2 hours, just like before.

  • The Undergraduate Common Law Admission Test (CLAT UG) 2024-2025 will have 120 questions in the question paper.
  • The time limit for CLAT UG 2024 will be 2 hours as it has been in previous years.

Previously the 120 questions will be divided into different sections and each section will have a specific topic. The total no. of sections is five which have English Language, Current Affairs with General knowledge (GK), Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.

Marking scheme for exam pattern

For the correct answer, you will get 1 mark each but it is important to know that if you answer it wrong then 0.25 marks will be deducted (negative marking). So you have to be careful to answer the questions and try to answer them correctly.
